Just had a meal ( pre theatre) at this lovely restaurant with a friend. 2 course with coffee under 16 pounds. Food was absolutely delicious and generous and most importantly not greasy. Staff extremely pleasant and professional especially the trainee( I'm so sorry I ca'nt remember name but I'm sure it started with an A) he should go far. Thanks for a lovely evening Joan
Tip Top customer service. The 'boss' of the restaurant is little Ayla, in which we took a picture with. This is a family-run restaurant with very much authenticity in their cuisine. The family is very friendly, and the Indian cuisine here is delicious. The ambience and the interior decor is spot-on.
AMAZING Food . I can't say how much I enjoyed the food. The portions were huge. The starters were freshly made. The spice was on point. Plenty of meat whether it be the lamb or chicken. Succulent chicken and tender lamb pieces. Hats of to the chef. Please visit and have some incredible Indian cuisine. Easy to find in th city centre.come here with your friends or family.
A lovely restaurant on the High Street with exquisite cuisine. Imaginative menu and fine wines. The Malabar chicken curry was wonderful, light and creamy, with a subtle heat. All the accompanying dishes obviosly used quality ingredients. All round a very good restaurant.
We visited on Thursday and tried the pre theatre menu. The food was exquisite especially since we ordered dishes I hadn't tried before (which in past experiences isn't always a great idea for me) Our server Erik was friendly and polite very attentive. Marvellous service and delicious food!
Well this was an unexpectedly lovely surprise. My son and I had struggled to find somewhere open and decent and came upon this place, Staff and owners are really really nice. They make all food in-house - nothing manufactured. Their intention is that the food is made in the same way and as good as they would make at home. I will come again (and I live in London).
This was our first visit here, it’s wasn’t busy being a Monday evening so we had a good choice of seats. The staff were great, just enough eye contact without being overbearing. Our waiter really knew his menu and helped choose our starters and then helped me create my own vegetarian main from what was in the rest of the menu. Every dish was fantastic, full of flavor and aromatic fragrance. You could really tell the difference as they were making the meals with fresh ingredients. Ayla is really worth a visit for the food and the friendly staff.
Popped in early evening and took advantage of the Pre theatre menu. It was nice and warm inside, and there was a good choice of a variety of dishes to suit most pallets and even vegans Staff were great.. service great... I loved my meal and am looking forward to going back.
